Fuel filter change (1 Viewer)

Thinking of changing the fuel filter on my 2013 Fiat ducato 2.3
Done a few twist of one's in the past.
Do you just press the clips on the fuel pipes to release?
When refitting are they just a push fit till it clicks .
Then ignition on to pump fuel up.
I noticed that there is bleeding screw on top does this have to be open to get all the air out?

I was about to say is it plastic or metal but the picture tells all. mine is the plastic type but if the connections are the same it is just a matter of pulling the collar back and they should release. I'm sure a mechanic type person will be along shortly with more knowledge than me

Just press the coloured button in and pipe will pull off. Mine were different sizes so cannot be put on reversed. On base of filter mine had an electric sensor, hardest part was getting plug off !! Remove this plug before taking filter out. Carefull not to overtighten this sensorwhen put onto new filter.
On completion turn ignition on but do not start. You will hear electric pump in tank runnng. Do this for a couple of times, say 15 secs each time. Then start engine. No air bleed screws involved on our 2012/13 3 litre fiat.
