I’m a newbie
Hi I keep losing water from under the water( not the drain down points) and after Googling it, my van may have a frost protection switch but I can’t find it. Can anyone help please

Close proximity to the water tank.
If it's automatic it will probably a black plastic box with a lever or knob on top of it and blue pipes going in and out.

Our frost protection (tank heater) switch on our 2013 Savannah is on the EC480 control panel over the hab door. You may have similar.

If you mean a Truma Frost Control safety drain valve it's part of the drain down system connected to the boiler.

ps :HelloThere:

I'm not being facetious but as it's a new m/home I'd expect the manual to tell me. If it doesn't it's a bad omission but I've read other owners of new motorhomes asking similar questions which I would've expected the manual (or the supplying dealer) to cover.

Yes it will be very close to the boiler - look for the exhaust and search in a locker near there. If no locker then access from inside

Hi, unfortunately the manual was very basic and the dealer handover was as well with a few WhatsApp videos of how to fill up/ empty loo etc. Dealer wouldn’t even go in the vehicle with me and I picked it up at the end of august this year. I’m just thankful for sites like this where you can ask and people help you out with experience. I had a new caravan so familiar with a lot but this motor home seems really complicated compared to that! And I’m using it a lot more, but I’ll get there. ( may take a little while though!)

Yip, it can be confusing \ tricky when first starting out even if you're migrating from a caravan to motorhome as we did but stick with it and you'll soon get there. Keep asking away with the questions and you'll get all the support you need (more than you need on some occasions!:whistle2:)
