We've sold out caravan so the serious hunt for our first motorhome is on.
When looking at various layouts we wondered if the cab seats when turned are comfy enough to lounge in when chilling out ?
Getting there slowly.
Thanks in advance.

We've only had 2 vans, both Fiat-based, but the front seats have been the most comfortable in the van. They're always more adjustable than the others and also, I suspect, made of better quality material as they have to stand up to far more usage.

Best seats in the house, only ones we use.
Last van had ISRI, captains seats current van has Aguti ones, both are good but the Aguti are the better of the two. Do not have any experience of Fiat seats but when a manufacturer offers the ISRI or Aguti seats as an option at quite a high premium, you rarely see any vans sold with the standard seats.

I agree with everything above. The front seats are better that the bench/dinette seats as they are adjustable.

The best seats in the house as someone has already said although as a personal preference I prefer to get away from the driving end when relaxing.
Having said that the view through the windscreen when looking out takes some beating anywhere, the seats make it even better. (y)

As said above, best seats in the house. Wouldn't want to buy a van that didn't have swivel seats fitted. When turned, they make the van so much bigger.

Our first van didn't have swivel seats. At 22 feet our current van is 4 feet longer than the first and has a fixed bed - but because the cab seats swivel we actually have more usable daytime space.

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
Great for sitting in as said. Especially if they angle right back, move backwards and forwards and have arm rests.
But you can't beat lounging, feet up on an evening watching TV or on the ipad. Our mizar GTL living top class , has both options. ( soon for sale) The middle seat pad, on the left ,removes. So you have 2 forward facing 3 point seat belted seats.

Our pvc , that Ralph is doing, will have the same options too. Though a rear lounge.
I wouldn't like a Motorhome with just the upright bench seats and a table in between , like on a train etc. There are a lot about with only that option too. Having several caravans before the above our first Motorhome meant we got the layout right first time. Something lots of folk don't do were told.

First moho 11/2013, second 11/2014 current from 09/2019.
Our first van had swivel front seats but only one arm rest on each seat. Having two armrests per seat was a prequisite for our current van. When driving or relaxing two armrests are win hands down!
