We have just returned from our first fortnight away in our motorhome - heating all working now! Anyway, we found the driver and front passenger seat rather uncomfortable. It is an old van so we expected we may have to spend a bit on getting it right. Has anyone replaced their seats? Or refurbished them? Any recommendations for someone who could undertake this work?

There was some threads running on here a few months ago about sheepskins and how comfortable they made the front (and other) seats. We have had some for about a year now and notice how 'ordinary' our seats are without them. Perhaps worth a try?

It is a very subjective thing seat comfort-what is comfy to you may not be to the next person so it is a case of sitting in vehicles to see what you like (y) We normally take the double seats /drivers out of vans and replace with some out of a people carrier that swivel (y) find them comfy then it's a case of getting bases altered/modified to accept seat and Julie to recover them to match the rest of van upholstery -Every other van usually we take the drivers seat from the previous van and swap it for the double --Be careful as to what you buy because some people carriers have seat bases that are quite a bit higher and no up/down movement
