Thought it time to start working on the lorry Iveco Eurocargo 75E180 early days, so far checked chassis in preparation for cutting it down to fit a dropwell to house the garage for the motorbikes, looks straight forward here's hoping it is. Stripped out all the racking channels and timber mucho grinding off rivets and removing about 200 self tapping screws that i will find a use for (gotta keep it green)
Ordered the aircon units, 3 x 500w solar panels, windows, door, rooflights and locker doors ( hoping corona virus doesn't slow down delivery) arranged delivery of many sheets of OSB.
The plan is to raise the floor 550mm and use the space for water and waste tanks, storage lockers. Install dropwell to give six foot height in garage and allow for fixed bed above with nearly five foot headroom. Usual lounge kitchen and shower room. will post when i get a bit more done.

As usual work gets in the way. stripped out all the Timber work and steel racking. Removed part of floor ready to cut chassis for dropwell and started making the OSB cross members to raise the floor 500mm. Laid out the floor plan and window locations. Will get some images up soon.

Start the raised floor today, plenty of space under there for water and waste tanks.

slow and steady they say wins the race, but i wish it would go quicker. Back wall was a pain as the existing steel work wasnt lining up but managed a work round. roof beams work well and once the wall adds support then no worries carrying the solar, aircon and roof lights. Hope you are all keeping well during these testing times.

Are you going to build in fuel tanks for the race bikes and a waste oil container?
Of course do not mean the tanks fitted to the bikes . It is handy to have an environmental way of storing and disposing of old oil etc.

Bikes are always serviced and checked before heading out, so wont need waste oil tanks and all tracks have a disposal point.

Was gonna say I've got an aluminium tail lift on a old race truck body if you're in need. ?‍♂️

Really interested in this one. Look forward to more updates ??

Spent this week finishing the insulation theres enough silver foil tape in there to satisfy even the weirdest aliens are talking to me people. Sorted the locations for the aircon units, rooflights and solar panels. once the strapping is finished its time for the wiring.

well a few steps onwards. Insulation 99% finished, Ran the wiring Blue 240v Yellow 24v all in artic cable. Started off thinking about using down lights but now going the led RGBW tape in diffuser channel so i can mood light!!!!! Decided i will lower the door to enable using either Lippert or Mor/ryde access steps(once i find an importer) Got a good deal(ibidder auction) on 5 sets of Lippert slide out storage racks. Received customs clearance on the windows and doors so should have them by the end of this week coming. Figured out the specs for the new dropwell so will be chewing through many, many cutting discs as i need to mock it all up before i get a welder in.Looking forward to chopping the arse out of the lorry as its the last really big job. Got the dual rear view camera system delivered so that's another cable i can run. Sorted out the kitchen units i need from https://www.diy-kitchens.com/ great prices and loads of options. Solar panels are on a slow boat from chine and should be here after the 28th April, 3 x 500w panels to feed a 920amph battery bank at 48v through a hybrid 5000w inverter this thing does it all bar make the tea.
Calculated build weight to be 2000kg which should leave in excess of 1500kg to play with go big or go home.

Hi Fella , i'm a bit far north for you as i' in East Yorkshire unless you fancy an away few days (all within self distancing :LOL::LOL::LOL:)Plenty of accommodation, beer and grub and some folding for your time. The existing weight details showed it as being 4ton unladen and that includes all the demount kit plus the side bars.
