Since 2008, with a gap between 2013 and 2018.
Hi all,
currently on site in Wales and have noticed my beer is a little warm.

Would I be right in thinking there are separate heating elements for the 12v and 240v systems? I'm guessing maybe the 240v one has failed.

Would this also affect the gas operation? Or is that likely to be a separate issue?

It's a dometic RMD 8505, and wifey's worried her prosecco will be too fizzy.
Cheers, Steve.

Is the gas jet working when gas is selected -- Gas jets are easily blocked.
Have a look under the chimney in the bottom vent

Not sure atm, it's tipping it down here so haven't had chance to look. I'll look when it stops. There are no warning lights when I switch it to gas, but still doesn't get cool. There was ice on the rear fins after the drive here.

If the gas is lit you should feel some heat at one end of the top grill where the flue exits .
Gas and 230v are separate as are the 12v and 230v elements

I haven't taken the top vent off yet but I took the vent cover off and the bit with all the electrical gubbins in (don't know what it's called, but has a plastic cover) was very loose so I pushed it back in place and 240v seems to be cooling now. It needs a self tapping screw to secure it. I haven't tried the gas yet, but it could be the part which I had to change when I 1st got the van (P108? I think it was) the burner control unit. I know they are a common fault, although I would expect them to last more than 3 years. Maybe just the jet needs cleaning. I use lpg in a safefill bottle and I'm sure I've read somewhere that it's dirty gas compared to calor bottles.
