Bit more detail would help. Is it an automatic energy source fridge or manual. Are you expecting 12v to work if the engine isn't running?
Possibly the mains element is faulty and shorting. They are quite easy to replace or not, depending on fridge model.

12v only usually works when engine running plus will not cool the fridge but helps maintain the temperature once it's cooled.
Mains tripping could be a shorted main 240v element.
Gas. I assume it's an older fridge being an Electrolux, could maybe do with a good clean of the flue and burner. Need to check for gas supply. Also Google thermocouples as if that's not working or in wrong place will give issues.
Sounds like you got a lot to sort out there..

Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
Welcome!

Has it never worked on any source and this is the first time you've tried to use it?

When you try to light it on gas do you hear the igniter clicking? (You should).
On some older models (we don't know what model you have) in order to get gas to the fridge burner you have to hold the 'Gas' knob 'in' until the flame lights and keep it pressed in for around 20 to 30 seconds after it has lit.
The model number is essential to give you relevant tips.

The supplies for the fridge, the gas burner and the heater elements are usually located at the back of the fridge, near the bottom. Often the lower external vent can be removed, and can provide enough access to do checks, service and repairs.

The label with the model number is usually inside the fridge somewhere, may be in an out of the way place.
