Fridge wont light on gas (1 Viewer)

when the gas run out in the van i put new bottle on came to relight the fridge and it would not relight its a hymer 544 if anyone can help :Sad::Sad:

It may take a while to bleed through, sometimes we have had them take a minute or so if they have run dry.

You could have a bit of dirt from the bottom, but doubt it - probably just coming through the pipes slowly!

Let it run, but don't get too silly or you will build up some excess gas and have a pop. Try lighting the cooker to help it along from the bottle.

There is just a possibility that you have pressed the control knob too hard while trying to light the flame. If it has worn a little it may not be actually releasing the thermo-couple.

Try removing the knob and putting a very tiny piece of tissue paper down inside the knob so that it sits a fraction further out.

You did turn the gas bottle on?

As above really, the fridge has a small gas jet so if it was right out and your pipes are full of air it will take quite a while to get through. I assume if you have Secumotion you have pressed the buttons.

when you say you put a new bottle of gas on....you did check if there was gas in this new bottle, and you did connect it , dident yoo:roflmto::roflmto::roflmto:

another thing to check is if the light has lit, but the ignitor keeps clicking (depnds on fridge) this can be a pcb fault and is common fault on dometic (electrolux) rm models
