Fridge vent winter covers

Hi all,

How vital are these winter covers for fridge vents? What sort of temperature does it have to drop to outside before the fridge stops working as well? Any advice appreciated, thanks!

Never had any so never used them, never been skiing but have taken in winter games in Scotland at -12C fridge was fine

inky thing you might benefit from us reduced draughts, but you can always park other way round ?

I put one on my oven vent in the winter to reduce draughts. The fridge is sealed so no draughts without the covers.

Check the user manual for your fridge. Some models, mine included, don’t need the vents at any temp.
