Hi has anyone with a mobilvetta, taken the fridge out. I wanted to take mine out to change the 240 element disconnect everything took the screws out but the fridge will not move any suggestions.

Different model of van but mine was a pig to get out, 4 screws inside hidden beneath caps and then the cabinetry was tight in every angle, I kept checking at the back that nothing was snagging and basically just argued with it till it came out, best to put a towel infront to stop any legs or sharp bits attacking the floor.
There was even a strip of 10mm wood on the floor mid-way that the back feet caught on so some tipping/rocking/pulling/pushing from the back occurred.

Not the same model motorhome, but mine had a sealant strip around the fridge which I had to remove in order to make it easier to remove.

Normally you can change the element via the bottom grill no need to take the fridge out.

Lenny thanks but tried that, can't get to the clips that hold the circling aluminium which surrounds the heating elements. If I could get to the elements are they clipped or screwed or push fit. i have tried to pull the element up from the top vent but no movement. Maybe you have more suggestions. cheers

In our benimar, engineer couldn’t reach element, but with my help fridge was moved into the motorhome about 6 inches then he got to it. Gas pipe disconnected.

We will have another try we popped into a dealer the other day they suggested pushing it from the back not pull it out so we will try that. But maybe if we can just shift it a bit your suggestion will work. Thanks.
