Hi all just started getting the motorhome ready for the upcoming season.powered the van up on 240v cleaned all the water system, switched the fridge on and it seemed to take an age to get even chilled went out side and noticed water dripping from underneath the wheel arch, there is a drain hose for something one side and it was leaking from the other side as well, switched over to gas and the leak virtually stopped, any ideas. Ps van stood since octobet

The "leak" is probably the condensation drain which will likely show some discharge whilst the fridge is cooling initially. Once down to temperature it should stop - providing you don't keep opening the door to check! Probaby coincidence that it stopped when you switched to gas, generally it should work equally well on both gas and mains electric but not so well on 12v of course. Ours takes up to 24 hours to initially cool down (on electric) but never a problem after.

I can’t believe that “quite a lot of water” could be associated with your fridge. Far more likely the other stuff you did bleeding your water system.
