Does your flame go out full stop ? as our Dometic RMSL 8501 runs on gas until it's cooled to the temperature require the switches of the gas and then some time later the gas re-lights to start cooling again, and this process keeps repeated while our fridge/freezer is running on gas.

flame does go out full stop after about 20 min, temp in fridge is 14 degrees and fridge is on full. I thought because my fridge is manual Electronic gas ignition
the flame would not go out ?

That's the same model as ours. No the flame should never go out 👍

Just had a look at the user manual for your fridge and as you say it is manual ignition, so forget my post.

Spoke to dealer who spoke to dometic they think the burner is giving off to much heat . I lit the fridge this morning and set it to low and it stayed on, About two hours later i turned it up to half and it went out in 20 min so i took top vent off relit the fridge and it stayed on so i put it up to full and the fridge dropped to 1 degree so i think it is the burner so easy fix (y)
