Fridge Problem

Here's my first question to you;

I have just bought, havent taken delivery yet as it needs a new mot, and service a Ci 6 berth, 2000 model 11,000 miles 1 owner etc. 3 way fridge, while switching the 12v supply switch on it did'nt light up with a red led. Should it have ?

If the asnwer is no, then it should not have lit red anyway.......

Mark, depending on the model of fridge if it has a red coloured switch when you switch it on it should light up red with the engine running but some of the electrolux fridges had opec switches that do not light up.
The way I would test this 12v is to start the engine and with a meter see what the leisure battery is being charged at, by switching on the fridge you should see the charge drop slightly.
