Leckie at Les Andelys was 6amp.
Noticed our fridge had gone onto gas and when leckie was selected came up with fault 10! Only time we have had a problem.

Waited till we moved on to Chateauneuf Sur Loire and fridge now on leckie and working well.
Been on 6 amp at Totana for more than two months and no problem.

Suspect low voltage at Les Andelys

We have experienced low voltage on sites in France and the Netherlands ... One occasion damaged the 240v fridge element by continually changing between gas and electric. Whenever I notice it now I stop using the elh.

Yes we put it to gas manually for that very reason!
Seems my low voltage guess may be right!

Possible.. A few people mentioned similar issues when over in Morocco back in 2013 / 2014.
Think you can get a voltage stabiliser that will resolve the problem.

We had that problem at Honfleur a few years ago. We've got AES so can't manually select gas so just removed the EHU lead so it selected gas. No problem after that.

We had this at a site in Normandy (Pont du Jour), the fridge would make a clicking noise, like a solenoid opening and closing, then go to gas.
Dodgy low volt electricity was the problem on the site, no problem anywhere else for the rest of our trip.

not on ours unless you know different - no buttons to select just an on/off button and 5 temperature settings.

Not like this then?...

It looks to me you "may" have the option... the two lights/buttons to right of switch... bad focus!...
Top looks like AES setting... bottom Manual...

Guess.... does the on/off "cycle tween settings?... just a guess!..

Edit: it might be worth googling user manual for that fridge... if you don't have one... (y)

Edit:edit... else why the two!??. Lights/buttons IF AES is all you have... if you see what i mean ;)

What about these?... again can't quite make them out...

Ahh!... ok ... makes sense now...

My guess is bottom lights up if low volatge on EHU or Batt...

Top shows AES function is working...

And no manual overide...

Edit:... but then again... logic would suggests fridge would revert to gas if voltage low on other two... mmm!

Edit:edit... but lower light shows yellow if on EHU... but running on gas ;)
