Fridge on gas not lighting...inaugral trip

Just checking over my Autocruise Accent for my 1st trip tomorrow...to a 5 site with no hook up. When I turn the fridge on to gas there is continual ticking which I guess is the ignition. There are no LED lights on this model to help. I assume there is air in the pipes...any help gratefully appreciated. Gas hob works fine, only picked up the van recently so fully serviced etc. How am I going to chill my wine!

If not been used a while or bottle been off, as you say might be air in the line. I have it now and again.
My cure is just to turn fridge on and off a few times with a small interval in between. Always worked for me.

Thanks tonka....I have done that about 3 times with the clicking going for about a minute. I will persevere, ...many thanks!

Sometimes it seems to take ages to get the gas through, the fridge jet is very small. Lighting a hob burner may help a bit depending on how your pipes run.

If it is the first time you have used it, might be worth checking the gas is turned on to the fridge
Many m/h's have a 'manifold' with two of three taps on it allowing the gas to be turned off to the different parts of the van
One for the fridge, one for the cooker and one for water heater
I am not familiar with the Autocruise set up so I might be blowing smoke !

Fridge working! Seems I was being a muppet and not pressing in the button on the front at the same time...phoned the dealer and now sorted. In my defence it didn't mention it in the manual! Thank you !

We have an isolation manifold and the fridge can be isolated while the hob works. Is it possible that your fridge gas supply is turned off at the manifold

This is really helpful. Can you post the make and model of the fridge, I'm sure it will help others in the future. Pleased it's working now

I think it's quite a basic one..no LEDS or display panel just 1button on LHS to choose input, 2nd one on the RHS and then a green/white "lozenge" with a movable red line which moves into the green when it is on...simples!
