Ever since lighting was by Calor gas.
New fridges are very expensive. Since yours doesn't work on anything I think it's extremely unlikely that yours needs replacing completely.
As M-J has said; check fuses and more info needed.
On gas the fridge needs 12v for the control unit and igniter. Do you hear the igniter clicking?

A few years.
What pappajohn says, time for the multi meter and Sherlock Holmes investigation, which will be cheaper than a new fridge.

Check through the guide, starting with the Troubleshooting page in the manual for your fridge.

(The 'L' in the fridge number just means Left hand door).

Does this thread help? Post no3 in particular re the gas.
Can you check for 12v supply at rear of the fridge with meter, the thin cables not the thick 12v element supply cable.

If it’s stood make sure everything is off and 240 disconnect remove all the contacts on the rear control panel one at a time and clean them spray all the micro plugs and replace. Even after a couple of years they stars to fur up.
worth a try

When selected to gas can you feel any warm air coming out if the exhaust duct? With the bottom cover removed can you see if the small flame at the bottom of the large tube is lit! If you have the flame and warm air is felt it is likely the gas/fluid mix has leaked rendering the fridge scrap

Fiat ducato van
Hi, we have just bought a van with a Dometic RM8401 fridge. It all seems ok on the panel but just doesn’t get cool! Gas chills slightly but not enough to keep food safely. 240w just doesn’t chill at all! Any advise please? Not sure where the fuse is to check that?
