working on both 12v and gas, but not on 240v. The fault when you look in the book says 20% less power than required operating voltage

Hi, there is power going to the MH, the lights all work and I have a small electric heater in there for when it gets very cold, this is working fine.

This would tend to suggest that the power supply to the fridge is less than 240v.

Are you in the UK or on the Continent?

We have experienced this a couple of times when in Spain when the Site power supply was a "little erratic" and not supplying the full 230/240 volts.

If you are able, try an alternative supply point?

Good Luck

Hi all. I am in the UK, the only flashing lights are the fault light and a number (8) and spanner, which when you look up the fault it says 20% less power than required operating voltage. It is just not working on 240v.

Maybe that fault message flashes whenever the voltage is '20% or more' less than the required operating voltage. So if the voltage was zero, you might get the same message. So could be the 240V element fuse/MCB or a bad connection.
