Fridge/freezer buzzing on 240v

Hi Folks Had something happening today on our Dometic7655L fridge/freezer buzzing from control panel when connected to 240v Turned it back to gas it is then fine any of you tec bods got a clue what could be going on please thanks John

Another possibility is if the mains voltage is low.

Yes That is a possibility as there was a sign on electric box saying 220volt

220v is quite acceptable and within the accepted tolerance for mains voltage so it's not low voltage.

Just a sign or have you measured it?
Not uncommon on busy French/Spanish sites for it to be well below 200v.

The relay that's buzzing is probably 12v so tighten all connections especially if it self latching. One poor earth or connection and 12v ceases to work that's why only small vehicles use it.
