l forgot to turn the fridge to off when we last used CB a couple of weeks ago and left the door open for air to circulate.
When parked up the electric is plugged in but the main circuit is off. Went in tonight to sort CB and the electric part of the fridge is not working, seems ok on gas (light comes on) didn't try battery.

Anyone any ideas if it may be repairable, l don't think it could have been on as you have to turn the main electric panel on to use things like the lights so assume fridge would be the same?

Any advice please
Caro

i would think the fridge is independant of the control panel and if left turned on with the door open for that long it may have burnt out the heating element.

heating element running 24/7 for two weeks

usually easy to replace.

where you say main electric panel....do you mean the main breaker in the fusebox or the on/off switch on the control panel.

ok.....that only controls the 12v side and not the fridge which is on the 230v mains side.

certainly sounds like its burnt out if it was working ok before....or the trip switch in the fuse box has tripped, if the fridge is protected seperately to the rest of the mains electric.

check the 230 volt breakers, they should all be in the up position.
