Several methods used. Hijacked user account, you contact them, they want you to deal off-ebay. Send £500 deposit to a fake paypal account. There is no motorhome and they have your money. Or pay into a bank account with promise to deliver which never happens. By dealing off-ebay there is no protection but there is no protection on classified ads anyway. If too good to be true it is . That motothome should be around £15000 not £4600

Same scam here in Spain, except some people we know bought a mobile fish and chip van through ebay, and lost their money.
