I have an Autosleeeper Executive when I fill the fresh water tank water leaks all over the drive (about 2 gallons) its coming from the top of the tank somewhere. It continues to drip for at least 12 hours. I have taken it back to the dealer and was told there is a hole in the top of tank that prevents the tank from being overfilled. Sounds like bull poo to me. Anyone got any ideas shouldn't the top of the tank be sealed?

Since 2005
your tank should have an overflow pipe leading to the underside of the van.

this also doubles as a breather letting air in as water is used.

this will be on the top of the tank.

so, yes.....they are talking sh**e.

even if the pipe had come off it still wont let that much water out.

needs checking properly as the water will be collecting in the van and will cause damp problems.

A Woosh bang
If it didn't have an overflow / breather it couldn't be pumped out and if it's a Shurflo pump there's good chance it would collapse due to the vacuum.

Thanks for the info. The tank has a seperate overflow linked the filling hose, the water level never gets high enough to run out of overflow.
