We are looking for someone to the share a frequent traveller account with us starting from the end of August (25th ish). We would probably use 4 of the 10 trips leaving 6 for our partner.

Am certainly interested in the 6 tickets, but a couple of questions:
Is it as simple as buying 6 of the tickets off you, and use them to book crossings ?
I assume they are not assigned to name or registration number ?

They are assigned to name. Both travel partners are named on the joint account and either partner can make a booking but must travel on that booking. One of you will pay upfront and trust the other to pay personally by bank transfer or cheque what you have agreed.
Supplements for particular crossings are paid individually. Each travel partner will register their own credit card on the account and this card is used to check in.

It works very well, just make sure the operator at Eurotunnel knows which one of you has booked the crossing. Mine booked the wrong person, confusing!

Essential you have your two separate credit cards registered at the beginning as the system does not recognise them if you add them later (it does mention this) (you only use one to buy all the tickets). Using your CC when you arrive at the terminals then gets you through quicker than keying anything in.

Our prospective partner has had a change of circumstances so is no longer able to commit. Consequently we are still looking for a partner to start almost immediately. Anyone else interested?
