    Hello to you all
I'm Chris ,a 56 year French man . I'll be touring Ireland in July with wife and daughters.

Maybe you can teach me a lot about driving there and getting to the right places ...
Information about French roads and places : please ask me.
I'll give you an answer (if I've got one !)

One thing you HAVE to remember is to wave at other motorhomers. It is an absolute requirement when safe to do so :reel:

I waved at a Hymer today and they didn't wave back. Then I realised I was driving a normal car.

Hi and welcome to the fun, enjoy the site. You will find Ireland Expencive, and full of polish immigrants, or so I'm told but it is a beautiful country with stunning scenery much like the South West of the UK.

    Amicalement

Whoops it's 10 pounds now is it?
I'm the late one, Mel , I was still on the 12 pounds contribution, hence the 15 euros... Right, so it should be 12 euros or so as the pound is quite strong at the moment!

    Be prepared for ............

"How do I get to Wexford ?"

"Oh to be sure if I wanted to get to Wexford I wouldn't set out from here".

Live on Guinness and Irish Coffees and you'll be fine.

Welcome to Fun. Just remember the UK is not so motorhome friendly as the rest of Europe and you need to plan and research a bit more for town and city parking. It's not quite "Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here" but worth a look here. :thumb:

Ireland is a great place. Roads are variable from nice empty dual carriageways to ones with grass growing up the middle, often different sections of the same road:roflmto:. Great scenery in the south, some industrial yuk in the North and in the South Limerick just keeps growing.
