Just gearing up for a 3 week trip to France and was wondering if anyone had an up to date price on petrol. Were off on 24th Dec through Portsmouth-Le Havre so wondering if we should wait to fill up here or there, bearing in mind that France will probably be rather closed over 24th-26th Dec.

Hi Mark and Sue,
We've just come back from France but I'm sorry we were buying diesel. I seem to think that was between 1.20 to 1.28Euros depending on whether it was from the supermarkets or the autoroutes.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and Holiday in France. I'd also take a cooked chicken (French price 12.90 )Euros as meat and chicken seemed expensive to us this time.
