    Just a few photo's of a beutiful Aire in the south Atlantic side of France
    In the Bordeaux region...late October 2009...temps from 71f to 100f during the day...but cold at night....

    How true you are Jim....these pics are not that far from Mimizan...have you been to Ondres plage we think it is better than Mimizan (it is just below Mimizan)... and you are straight on to the beach, you just go down about 10 wooden steps...Mmmmmm

    Looks just like the Canal du Midi, but maybe all French canals look the same.

    Can you put a name to it ?

    .. yes indeed, we cycled to that beach when we stayed at Capbreton aire..

    great coastline and tons of great aires:Smile:

    they have now put a barrier up at Ondres...you use your credit card...7 euros per night elctric now on 12 points..all in the price with water.......Mimizan has now got a barrier 6 euros per night
