Hi, does anyone know if the freeview TV box runs on 12 volt? Thanks.

If you mean a fire stick, I’ve got an Amazon fire stick and it powers up from the USB port on the
Back of my 12 v telly.
But not sure if tv box is different.
Hope this helps.😀

There are many free view boxes, most I believe have a 230v plug that converts down to a lower DC voltage. Each will have it's own specific requirements.

Checking the manual or manufactures website might get you the answer.

This for example seems to need 12v at 2Amp: https://manhattan-tv.com/freeview-play/manhattan-t3r-recorder so might work... You'd need to speak to them of course.

I bought a Manhattan SX Freesat box (not Freeview) about a week ago, an initial test shows it works with a random 12v car adapter power cable.
