Good afternoon fellow members!

I enjoyed travelling around the UK since I was a university student, I do not want to wait for retirement to have fun so after watching a film most of you are familiar with "Paul" I decided to buy a motorhome.

And I have not looked back! Myself, family and dogs love it.

I joined this forum because I want to venture outside the UK this summer and want some tips from your experienced members, so any advice and tips for travelling to France or Spain this summer will be appreciated.

France is wonderful for using a motorhome, so many facilities compared to UK.

That would just leave the kids seeing Paul getting as stoned as a very happy hippy.

Just go for it! There is an extensive network of aires in Spain and particularly France which you won't find in the UK. These range from dusty carparks to delightful waterside pitches with ideally a restaurant a short stroll away. There are books and various apps to help you find them.

Our Grandkids been on many Fun rallies and spend last 5 years 6 week's holidays in Benidorm..
They tell me when they smell "weed" !!!

The Spanish have different laws on the use of cannabis which even allows for an individual to grow their own for personal consumption.
