Free wifi available in and around Brugge, take a look at ZapFi, all you need is to get a code from them, that is sent to your mobile in text form.
Working great for me at the Brugge aire as their office is only about 500m away near the train station.
Checked up and no charge for the text, even switched off data roaming on the phone just to make sure no use of the phone involved.
Just put in the code they send you on their web page and away ya go!
I believe they are a new company wanting businesses to BUY their routers etc, who then offer customers free wifi, and anybody else it seems near one of their customers.
Even the local buses use it.
