Free spreadsheet to run Excel? (1 Viewer)

Hi I have bought a staff holiday planner of ebay for £3, it works a treat in Excel 2003, but I want to enable a read only version at all 3 shops using "Livedrive briefcase" this means I need two more copies of Excel, unless their's a free spreadsheet which will run excel spreadsheets including its macro's.

Tried "open office" and it doesn't work. Any ideas from you techy guru's would be appreciated.

have you tried Microsoft Excel viewer ?

Hi Jim, good try but no cigar, viewer doesn't support macro's. oh: Didn't find out till I had downloaded it.

why not download and install openoffice? then you've got the lot. sorry, just read your post properly olley. never had a problem with it myself. oops!

That brings back memories of the 80's. I programmed 135 Interlinked Lotus 123 Spreadsheets to control the Rossington Colliery Holidays & Rest days.

Hi John, thanks I don't want to make a planner, just run one I have already bought. Been given a rip copy of office 2003 with the code, so I will try that.
