A new solar farm has been set up near were we live and as we drove past a couple of weeks ago I said to the wife I bet they go missing.
We drove past on Tuesday and the front rows near the road have panels missing off the brackets so there should be some cheap panels on ebay

I thought that the UK was the same as here in that they have to be in a fenced, gated alarmed & remotely monitored by cctv ?

I found out it was a fraternity of tuggers with transit vans that were found loading a pick up full obviously handy when your off grid.
They have now put a six foot electric fence around the field to stop them the solar panels are probably making enough power to power the fence

actually the morocans dont use that many now . they have mains electricity in almost every house.
it was the spanish taking them awhile back.
