Free motor Legal insurance

Sounds interesting are there any snags, usually something for nothing .... but sounds ok . :Ta2:

Well they have to be 'at least' 51% sure they will make a recovery from the Third Party - in which case you probably don't need the service anyway do you? Because most things you'd spend and claim for, your insurer would easily recover from his insurer.

If he wasn't insured, you have to foot the bill for all your expenditure anyway.

The bloke who hit our mirror with his mirror as we were crossing a culvert since we weren't going as quick as him, and anyway he was way down the road when we got to the culvert so it was our right of way - swore we'd been over the middle of the road - well, we could have been but in the absence of other traffic that's immaterial - anyway he reckoned it was our fault and we reckon it's his. Neither of us can actually prove it one way or the other - so as far as I know, we both had to cough up for our own damage ourselves. No point in us even making a claim - he did and his insurer wrote to ours. We wrote back to ours saying No Way Pedro (he was Spanish and unable to talk in any language, only scream unintelligibly fast, in Spanish) and that we weren't making a claim having replaced said mirror anyway - and never heard another word.
