I have just returned from a very excellent 6 week ski/sun tour of Europe in a nice new Frankia 7400.

The van was a pleasure and toasty warm (although pay per unit electricity gave an eye watering bill!)

HOWEVER, the Sprinter based van rocks and rolls far far more than my previous Fiat kontiki on an Alco double buggy chassis and was unpleasant in the high winds near Carcassonne.

Does anyone have experience of fitting air suspension? VB offer full air at £4.5k !!!!! or just rear at around £1.2k.

A bit steep considering the cost of the MH, but the soft suspension gave a mild sea sickness sensation.

Hi I have an older Frankia i590/Fiat Ducato fitted with a Goldsmitt air suspension on the rear .
Retro fitted at around €650 can say it works fine
The price you quote seems a bit on the steep side ,AirRide system around £500 fitted I believe
