In a previous thread I said about doing a month in France, Staying mainly on Aires and the occasional Camp site...
It was mentioned that this trip is a no plans trip, just going and staying where we fancied, a bit of Site Seeing, relaxing, Drinking & Eating the local cuisine.. few days here and a few days there..
A lot showed interest regarding tagging along for part of this trip.. culminating with a "Mini Meet" at Bob & Di`s establishment here = http://www.parcverger.com/
We have never seen the North/west coast properly, so our intentions are to get off the Ferry and turn right.. and head all the way along this coast towards Brest.... then head inland to view some of the quaint villages and towns on our way down to Parc Verger..
As some showed interest in some or all of this trip, we will each day update on where we are and where we are heading for and approx how long we stay. (If interesting enough).... If the weather is a bit inclement (raining & Blowing a Gale) we shall head inland...
We have booked the ferry... 12-15 sailing Tuesday the 2nd September Dover - Calais..... and provisionally booked the 22/23 at Parc Verger for a week..
After which we intend to cut across to the East of France and amble on up to catch the ferry back to the UK on the 3rd October`ish... (Not booking till nearer the time..)
As said in previous thread, any one wishing to join us at any stage, are more than welcome..
There will be a Cheese & Wine get together at Parc Verger on Saturday 27th September.... all are welcome...
Just a thought,,,, any that are coming to or thinking of coming to Parc Verger might be worth dropping Bob a line, just in case they get inundated....
Hope to see some on the road..
