Can anyone tell me where to go for cheap cigs and booze as we come off the train. I seem to remember there are some shops toward Belgium is this the case? If it is can someone tell me exactly where is best?

    Thanks Glenn.

Not everyone, on my way to Scotland and only for a week!
Sorry can't help with the op's questions as I don't smoke or drink, but I do enjoy France when I go, have a load of fun over there.

Hopefully the weather might be better. Far south for us. Plus once over the water the cost is cheaper . We are on a site near Mavagissy just now and it's 34 quid a night. 14 to 16 euros or using aires makes quite a difference. Plus diesel is much cheaper.
First time for us so I'm not talking from experience.

Have a great time wherever you are !!

We always stop at the free aire in Bray Dunes, maybe 30 minutes away. There is also a service point at the nearby Car-four so you can fill up with water instead of carrying it all the way to France - See previous posts:)
We also always have to stock up on smokes next door in Adinkerke. Which is next door to De-Panne, a nice sea side town. We always stop at City Europe on the way back a few minutes from the ferry (and even closer to the tunnel) - after a call in at Adinkerke - you should be able to spot theme going on here? Plus we can fill up with cheap French Diesel at the Car-four.

@movan we are leaving early tomorrow and picking up the 2:30 Chunnel. We can smuggle you out if you like as no one checks on the way out. Might have trouble on the way back tho.;)
