I got a mango tag on a special offer recently. Basically free till you use it.
It claims to work in France Spain Portugal though I haven't tried it yet. Generally avoid tolls as far as possible

Oh I do love a toll booth, with all the excitement of looking out for height barriers and British idiots whose debit card, seemingly doesn’t work. Yes, we were behind some such person at the peage exit for Saumur last year 🙄. They were in a spanky new van, had a toll of 80 euros and only 100 euro notes, which obviously the cash bit wouldn’t accept. 🤔 Think they must have travelled to France from Mars for that cost, so, if yer reading this mate, get a Tag.

Maybe they had never done France before as they had a new van there are still beginners out there

Another vote for Fulli/Mango tag although it needs a euro bank account such as Revolut to work. The Sanef tag is a little dearer but the company has a UK office and you use a sterling account to pay.CAMC also have a member discount to get them free. They're called Emovis tags. However you need two different tags for France and Spain/Portugal whereas one Fulli Nomade plus covers France, Spain, Portugal and Italy.

Emovis tag works well. We have one in the MH and another in the car as well as a Spanish one in the glove box (unless we’re in Spain).
Uk bank account and offic, quick delivery. You can go online and check your account, spends, battery life of each one and they replace when you need to change the battery. You pay about £5 a year for the privilege of having one, but they’ve never let me down in countless trips and it’s so much easier than sitting in a queue and having to try and find the card you have that works at this particular toll!
You can become a little laid back about tolls and only realise the extent of your use when you get the bill at the end of the month though, so be careful!

Another vote for Sanef. Bought it via Eurotunnel. Also have a Bip and Go for Spain and Portugal. Both from a UK based company in Harrogate. Never had any problems with them. But make sure you are less than 3m high when in France otherwise these tags won't work.

Mango was the one a lot of people ordered because of a offer, they have been taken over by Fulli, now they too have a Promo offer, there are no Setup fees, you only a pay a fee on the month you use it, Use Tolls in France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Mango offer was free delivery but Fulli charges for delivery, Delivery costs outside France is €10.00 which is still a good offer because your saving on the €15 setup fee, This is the web page to order the right one for all four counties https://www.fulli.com/fulli-nomade-plus Good luck

Don't you have to pay an annual fee for Emovis tag

Must organise that. Arriving at the booth is ok when you have a ticket, but a bit unnerving without. Plus you're never totally sure the UK card will go contactless. I did put the hazards on to discourage anyone following my lane.....

We tried Emovis for the first time this year. I agree the advantages of a good UK company. However I found that the tag wasn't 100% successful in that we had to get out the van few times and wave the tag in the direction of the reader for it to work. I accept that it could be an issue with my windscreen, but I'm considering going back to card payment 🤔

Hi, emovis tag worked well for us in France last year, so much so, we've just got one for Spain and Portugal for this year.

Been using my Sanef and Bip and Drive tags in France, Spain and Portugal since 2018 with no problems at all. Got them replaced last year as the batteries were running out. Simple and quick process. After a bit of experimenting we found the best place to put the tag was at the middle bottom of the windscreen of our A class. We first tried the top middle, as they recommend, but that was slower to open the barrier. It's great to to use the 30kph drive through truck lanes with no stopping.

We have the same problem in France so we just wave it about mid screen then it works fine , the Bip and Go
in Spain works when you are about 8 meters away wherever it is on the screen .
