France is open

Just heard on the News 👍🏻👍🏻
Tunnel staff will be busy 😂

Still requires a covid test 24 hours prior to entering.

I’ve booked the tests for Monday morning, just dealing with the paperwork now.

Non-vaccinated travellers will still need a compelling reason to enter France, and must still isolate for 10 days upon arrival.

Too late we've cancelled our trip. I'll wait until the end of Feb before going to France, perhaps their infection rates will have reduced significantly by then.

Yes. I suspect that stance may be taken by more countries too.

I support that. If people want to have a choice then they need to be prepared to deal with the consequences.

France is 3 times the size of UK
81% of French live in cities

Seems a simple answer as to how to significantly decrease your chances of catching covid to me
just choose carefully where you park

I'm watching this carefully, we will go but not while the infection rate is so high. Our son and his family live in Paris so it's difficult to avoid lots of people and the grandchildren go to the local school so they have a lot of contact with others.

Just on our way back, via France.
Stuck to motorways and toll roads so contact with French people is negligible.
Dogs at the vets tonight and ferry booked for Sat morning.
