any Funsters out there that can give me the latest supermarket diesel price over in France

Just to let you know that fuel prices will increase from January here in France due to tax increases on it..

Doesn't seem much point, then, in waiting until we've crossed to Calais to refill the tank. Might as well use Tesco!

Auchen at Calais are listed at €1.25 at the moment according to the website above.

We last filled up at L'Estartit on the Costa Brava about 2 weeks ago at €1.11

Currently getting €1.12 to the Pound Stirling

Nah the days when it was much cheaper over here seem to have gone, last weekend I paid 1.45e per litre for 98 petrol, proper spat out my dummy I did

Sorry slight thread drift but just as important as every little helps.
I bet we pay less for most of our groceries than on the continent, we got such a shock few years back visiting Greek Islands, Italy, Sicily etc. We pay less here for Olive Oil (quality brands) and preserved smoked meats, Beef, bread, even tomatoes than they were paying. Made us wonder how locals could afford to pay the prices some places were asking.
What deals are on offer at Carrefore Cite de Europe these days that you guys go for? I would have thought maybe beer, maybe wines, But we got 18 stellas for example in Tesco last week for £13.
So it looks like the booze cruises are dead in the water, hope I am wrong. Chin up eh?

Also on the move for up to the minute prices we use the APP "Essence" which on the phone changes to Petrol and only covers France but does work extremely well

Although we were paying 1€15 away from the Autoroutes the cheapest was in Spain we paid 1€005c a litre (Exchange was 1€13 to the pound)

€1.24 at Auchan Calais last week = approx £1.12. Best price at home, Asda Barnspaple at the mo, £1.18. Didn't see diesel in Kent at under £1.20. 80 litre fill up at Auchan will save around £6....every penny counts! Lot cheaper in Spain tho!

I paid 1.22 in a small supermarket in the countryside but they want 1.37 on the motorways. 1.01 in Luxemburg ON the motorway and cheaper if you go shopping for it of route.
