France breakdown cover

Planning first France trip. I have European breakdown cover with Nationwide Building society. IF I broke down in France I don't think they will get me back to UK just a French garage then you run the risk of waiting for repairs for days or weeks? Does anyone know if there is such a thing as breakdown cover that will bring you, your MH or both back to the UK from France? I have read a few horror stories on this forum of people getting stuck in France etc.

Most policies have a repatriation package but are likely to have a limit, I.e. £5k.
I don't know the nationwide package but other members have it. And can maybe comment

I have had fantastic service from Red Pennant which is part of the Caravan and Motorhome Club. My moho has been repatriated home twice after suffering breakdown and severe illness. RP arranged ferries and hire car and air flights. The costs are very reasonable.

Why not read the Nationwide Breakdown & Recovery Policy to see if you’re happy with the T&Cs? (Relevant European section is on page 26. ).
