Currently not if your double jabbed and have a certificate/app. Plus a negative paid for test. Plus a green card if your taking a vehicle (but this being phased out soon) Plus officially they can ask for proof of ability to support yourself financially but no one seems to have been asked that (yet).
However, it all seems to change almost daily

Yep. Just like The Netherlands.

Can you explain who they are?

The U.K. government will not allow us vaccinated in France to come to the U.K. double vaccinated without quarantine.
I’m not sure how they will resolve this as they have no access to our medical records as France has no access to U.K. records .
I am certainly not looking for an argument just pointing out how stupid that situation is .

I see in today’s paper that the EU and Switzerland have agreed to recognise each other’s covid QR codes so allowing travel without quarantine.
The EU and U.K. are in discussions about the same thing and apparently near to agreement.
It looks like you should be able to travel to the U.K. quite soon without quarantine.

It a bit stupid for the reasons I have given . But I think I’ll wait till your infections go down and ours go up as the motorhomers are doing as feel safer here at the moment lol

Sorry I wasn't being argumentative, the last few posts had mentioned UK, France and the Netherlands and I couldn't work out who you or quite what you were referring to.

Currently Switzerland don't recognise the UK one either but again this is being sorted I believe. On the bright side, Switzerland do recognise the Indian Astrazeneca vaccine.

Regardless of my sympathetic feelings for genuinely endangered migrants I do find it bizarre that all the travel requirements are waived by the French for illegal arrivals, but applies to solvent and law-abiding Brits.

That particular rule doesn't just apply to UK citizens but to all 'Third country citizens' IE Australia, USA etc (I believe).

The same applies to anyone from an EU country. 'They' state it is because they cannot 'read' the QR code.
Funny that as my wife has not only had both her jabs added to her NHS medical records , so it is readable on an NHS application or our spanish one & the daughter,who works for the NHS, states that the QR code on the EU digital certificate is readable the same as an NHS or any other one?

The European digital certificate is available as an APP on phone or hard copy , which is what we have. It is in the country langauge + English. It states on the paper or app, name, address, age, whether you have had covid, whether you have had both jabs, date, time, place, Type of vaccine , batch number/s.Etc;etc.

they are just being awkward, obstinate & personally the EU should just refuse entry till reciprocity is agreed.

Still cant get information re the un authorised AZ vaccination being allowed into France. The ccc club dont know about it or the French Embassy so we are just going to have to chance it at the border.
