I am thinking of buying a Four Winds citation single slide 28ft. 2006 with a ford 6 litre diesel engine, anyone out there have any experience or feed back concerning this type of vehicle, e.g. build quality, reliability, fuel economy etc.

I think you would find the fourwinds ok , as they are all built on the ford e450 chassis and the slideout makes a huge difference to motorhomes, we have got a 26 ft b class with a petrol engine on a 450 and it is the best rv we have had yet our 3rd rv:thumb::thumb:
we would have liked something around that size but a little out of our budget, all the best wwith your purchase.

:Cool: be careful with the 6,0L Ford, on a lot of US forums (RV and trucks) you can read many breakdowns with injectors and the gasket . The maintenance should be perfect
