I thought this might be of some value to members as it's a fantastic Aire/stopover if driving to Brittany from Calais/Dieppe. The Aire, with ample spaces and free, is next to the Boules pitch and across the road from the Château de Fougères . There is also a small lake next to the Aire with a surrounding footpath and can be walked in about an hour. The Chateau is a must see place and even if you do not enter the grounds it's well worth a walk around the outer walls. Next to the Chateau entrance is a small village square and some very nice restaurants and bars where you can enjoy some good food or just take in the magnificent views and rest before moving further on. A little gem of a place. Don't miss the church gardens further up the hill into the village.
