Just thought I'd post this foto of a beach side location near where I live, was driving past yesterday, not a grest foto, but always seem to be a few vans on there. Looks a perfect spot if the fascists don't bother you. Hope they're keeping the place clean as its really nice there.

Is that just north of Cap Blanche and south of Altea ?

We stayed in Altea 2013 and loved the place. We stayed at the site as Brian says Cap Blanch.

Simple no frills site but nice people and what a location. Loved it.

No. This spot is about 400 metres outside of Altea off the N332 just north of Altea, on the road to Calpe, opposite the football pitch. So it´s the other side of Cap Blanche which is really Albir so perhaps 1 mile between the two? I´ve had some bloody awful luck as well but life is short, you somehow have to remember the good things in y0ur life and get over the bad decisions etc!

Am I correct in thinking it is not far from where they used to have the Flea Market? Near the river? If so, people where regularly moved on from there Circa 2008ish. by the Policia!

We had several weeks in camping Cap Blanche 2006/7. Very large Dutch Community on site most winters 2003-8?

I know it well. You have to turn left when travelling north on the 332. Then back under the bridge that carries the 332. Its not a good place to be if its raining in the hills though as its a storm drain.

Lots of them there is autumn 2012. Place would have been full come the winter.

When we were there we were one of the only two "brits" on site. But still enjoyed ourselves

Just Done Google earth. I am pretty sure its the same place, we stopped there and parked up to do some shopping and the big car park behind the football field is (or was) a Huge Market (poss; Tuesday??). There where a couple of Brits there, and some Germans. One of the Brits told me that they had been moved on, when they tried to overnight? on a previous occasion by the Local Police (not Guardia, the one`s in the funny hats!. AKA Franco`s "gestapo", back in the 60`s when I was a Young Merchant seaman!!). The dutch where great, I got quite used to drinking a form of Schnapps. But could not get them to drink warm beer!!
