Don’t forget to sample a Forfar Bridie and as I said previously, Glamis Castle is worth a visit.
Lochside is the only site I have ever had my Motorhome measured by a large roll out measuring tape, the Warden is long gone from there.

Not sure how far North you are going, but if you get as far as Aberdeen I highly recommend a visit to Peterhead Prison. It closed about 4 years ago and has opened as a museum. A really great day out, one of the best places I have visited in a very long time.

Safe travels

Wait until the golfing crowds have gone then have a run down to the coast at Arbroath and treat yourselves to an Arbroath Smokie.
Try and eat them warm with nice bread & butter(y)

http://www.arbroathsmokies.net

DONT go in the MH as absolutely nowhere to park that we could find.

More than toes wet now!
If you like a beach wait 'til the Open has finished and take a jaunt down to Carnoustie. Free parking at the beachside but make sure you check out the tide times as it comes right in to the breakwater! The flag pole to the right is the golf course.

The commercial site there is very good.

But watch out for the wild life in the trees!

While you are in Arbroath you can visit the Mackie’s jam factory and stock up on goodies. They have jams, marmalade, pickles, biscuits. As well as their own makes they also make a famous London stores products including the Mrs Bridges brand.Much better prices than the shops and garden centres.
