Any help with how to turn off alarm whilst in the van - unless key is in ignition it goes off while I’m in the van

Hello, bit of a quirk on Transits- on our 2018, unlock van then open & shut drivers door regardless of whether you enter through it , should disable alarm unless it's a 3rd party model fitted.

I remember having the same issue on a mk7 transit I converted.. if I used the key fob to lock it the internal sensor would activate the alarm...I seem to remember that my solution was to press the manual locking button on the front passenger door ..that cycled all the locks and didn't activate the alarm..

I believe you can turn off the internal sensors on the sync screen
