Interested in this van but it’s on a ford chassis

Make sure payload adequate for your needs

Ford not an issue, if you add extra theft protection ( your insurer may require it)

They are no easier to pinch, just a higher demand for them by the pinchers.

On our second Tessoro, ours is 170 HP with automatic gearbox and is a .pleasure to drive. Economy good in the mid to high 20's depending as usual on how one drives.
Have to watch payload but possible to stay within limits, also agree about adding extra security but that's advisable with any Motorhome anyway.

Driving the Ford is, in my experience, far better than a Fiat. Far nicer to drive. Some people will say that easier stolen but to be honest if you take reasonable precautions they are probably not any more stolen than other models when compared with total sales volumes. 170bhp makes them fairly nippy.

Benimar has been a good buy for us. After a couple of years no issues and build quality has been very good. Easy to upgrade weight, mostly a paper exercise, if you need extra payload. Tessoro have more modern looking interiors than some of the older brands.

Looking at the 486, it’s very spacious loads of cupboard space good garage area it’s a lovely van so seriously thinking about it but atm they are offering silly price for ours!

how come we can see are exact model and year van on sale but they offer us 9.5k less ?? Ours is far better condition
Where do they get their prices from .
All dealers are running short of second hand stock, more people are buying secondhand than new so I think they will b needing people to buy new before they can move on.
They might put better offers on new ones
