It would be worth your while going on the Auto Sleepers forum, if you do go on there don't forget to introduce yourself. Great source of info on there.

Is that "standing 44 months" (3 years 8 months) or "standing FOR 4 months"

'For' is only 2 more key strokes than '4' and saves a lot of confusion.

Txt spk sux !

7 year (25yrs a tugger)
Many motorhomes stand for 4 months during winter. Usual Ford bad points to watch for of that age - rust - on doors, wheel arches etc etc. The Autosleeper part with no doubt be fine just make aure everything works.

I have a 1996 Autosleeper on a 2.5 non turbo auto. Had little problems to date. Engine bullet proof. Check auto box has had oil and filter mesh change. If not get it done. Transit cab is prone to rust but all panels easily found. (look at Ford Transit Forum on line) Not the quickest van on road but have been all over Spain and France in mine..Only problem i have had was a duff alarm. Good Luck. BUSBY.
