Near the small village of Vaux-Sur-Somme, at 49.93224, 2.53719 (small roadside parking space), is the supposed crash site of Manfred Von Richthofen, otherwise known as The Red Baron.
Nothing to see but an information board and a wheat field but a 5 minute stop there adds a little colour to an otherwise very grey historic land.
It's worth reading up on him and his exploits.
