Before motorhoming I'd eat fish & chips perhaps once a year. Now with the MH and the many campsites that offer fish & Chips takeaway, my intake has increased to 14 a year.

What's different about you from pre-MH life to Post-MH life?

Oh! How I'm missing my F&C on a Friday night ( every Friday night lol) in the UK - bit like the opposite to you!! - I am having to compromise now with beautiful weather - warm seas - and all that stuff and no F&C :( That's what Motorhomings done to me eh! :)

Pub meals and eating out generally. We probably have about one meal out a month when at home but eat out daily (often twice) when away in the motorhome. I now have the waistline to prove it!

Food wise ... the lovely pastel de nata from Portugal which we discovered 3 years ago ... mmmmm.

In the camper ... sand ... everywhere!

Moules Frites is now one of my top 5 favourite meals.

Trappiste Rochefort No 10 is now my favourite beer.

I speak better French now than I used to, and have tried to learn other languages.

I use aires.

I struggle to remember... been 45 years. Things i miss from when i was small. Sleeping over the engine, VW split screen, waking up in a different place i went to sleep so many times. Wild Camping , 'because its more fun'.. when in reality it was cos we didnt have money for campsites. Listening to the World Cup on the Radio parked in the middle of nowhere , in 1974, because we had a signal.

Having my picture taken in the middle of nowhere, sat on a rock, 4 years running, and not even thinking it was wierd.

Wine......:wine:

I’m sorry you have had to give up drinking wine now you have a motorhome ;) but I guess it’s sensible with all the driving. Perhaps the occasional small glass in the evening might be allowed? One or two on here do seem to find it possible to combine motorhoming with having a very modest libation from time to time:
