We'll give it a miss nice website no prices except electric at 16 amp £65 for four nights that's a bit excessive especially as that is on top of whatever else they are going to charge

I don't need EHU power and definitely not 65 quids worth!! That's more than I pay at home - for a month!- in winter!
So can I buy the three day Rover ticket @ £20 each and take advantage of their free parking for 3 days/nights?

A long time now
I see from the advert on e mail there is 25% off the price if you book early ,plus you are given a voucher for £30 off at two restuarants in the town .If you have never been before to Chester its a cracking place and the campsite is on the racecourse near the town centre with unlimited entry to the food and drink festival. There are showers on site and this time Ive heard that there will be a cinema tent for the campers .(y)

Was thinking of going as I enjoy food festivals
wasn't slating you @old-mo

in this climate where everything is money the main thing was missing from their website -- HOW MUCH
the electric is seriously overpriced but probably as there are not many hook ups available

So they just put us off then I realised that we aren't here anyway

I think the leccy is supplied by gurt big generators so that’s probably where the cost comes into play

Fun has been at every one of these for the last 6 years. I didn't go last year but the year before we found the actual festival was disappointing and was petty much exactly the same as previous years and had lost its sparkle. We had Fun on the field though. It does seem expensive but its pretty good value, essentially you are camping in the city centre (on the race course) for the whole of Easter Thursday to Tuesday

The weather will likely be better as Easter falls much later this year. But we (Me and Siân) won't be going, neither is Carol who has organised it in recent years. So if you want to go as a club we'll need a volunteer marshal first. But you can of course book direct. it doesn't have to be a rally.
