Could any of you enlighten me to the name of some guy / company that makes a folding / collapsible electric trike / bikes that shows off his stuff at the various shows?
My old dear has had her hip replaced and thus far can't walk very far, so I was thinking of getting her a bike to get around on campsite instead of going for a walk.
This dude had a great looking, easy step through trike where the rear axle was able to be folded as well as the front stem but can my pea brain remember the damn name of the company.. I even took a business card off the guy and can't find that now either and google is being utterly useless as well.
Old guy Seemed very friendly and appeared to know a lot of people passing through.

Good excuse to go to Peterborough Show maybe?(y)
Or just cheat, see if you can find the list of sellers at the show from The Warners site, to see if one jogs your memory.
Good luck

When I met up with @tonyl last week, he was off to pickup a folding electric trike for his wife from A S Bikes at Coventry.

I have seen A S Bikes at some of the shows we have been to, so that's who you may be looking for.

Yes, I picked the trike up just over a week ago from AS Bikes and it’s great so far. We’re in Spain at the moment and we’ve both ridden it. It’s done around 50 miles so far with no problems. The folding rear axle enables it to fit in the MH garage without taking up all the space.

My other half struggles with walking too and couldn’t balance on a two wheeler. She had a non-assisted trike before but struggled to go at more than a brisk walking pace on that. Now, she can zoom around and has cycled further this week than she has for years. I suppose it is early days still but it seems well made.

It’s worth mentioning that there is a definite technique to riding a trike and some regular cyclists struggle. Road camber can catch you out and you have to try and think where all three wheels are going to be in dealing with potholes, etc.

I had the Diblasi R34 electric trike which was brilliant. You can sometimes find them on eBay and they are well worth the wait, both in terms of engineering and cost. If you utube Diblasi you will get a good idea why they are so brilliant,
